Devotion is a place where you do not exist; life just flows through you as a certain sweetness and beauty.

There’s an innate wisdom in us all that is waiting to be discovered and returned to. Through the quickening pace of modern life, this innate wisdom and vitality begin to fall into the background. What would you say if I told you that you know yourself more than anyone else ever could and that your ability to heal is already in your hands?

There’s no coincidence that my mother gave me two names symbolizing the vast universe above us. Heaven Celeste Nuñez is my name and it holds as a reminder of how each of us carries the mystery and life that the cosmos broadcast to us endlessly.

Collaborating through one on one sessions, my passion is to bring time to a halt so that we may work together to bring you back into your body to discover the power, strength, and wisdom that has been within all along. Within is where the healing begins. We will be working with modern and ancient healing modalities that have withstood the test of time. I lovingly incorporate within each session:

  • Plant Medicine: such as Chinese Herbal Formulas, Sacred Plant Essences, Moxibustion, Aromatherapy, and Pelvic Herbal Steaming therapy
  • Energy Work: such as Acupuncture and Electro-acupuncture, Shiatsu massage, Sound Therapy, and Crystal Therapy
  • Biotensegrity Work: such as Cupping, Guasha, Tuina, and Rebozo (Mexican Shawl) Therapy

Growing up in a modern city, I embraced the science and art of ancient teachings in the second decade of my life. When I began Aztec Dance, I learned about the sacredness, sustainability, and authenticity of nature, the elements, and indigenous knowledge through community work and ceremony. Having my recent lineage from Mexico, I easily resonated with the traditional medicine of Mexico’s indigenous population, as well as East Asian medicine’s ancient science of healing. Honored to have observed traditional healers in Oaxaca, Mexico for two springs, I continue to carry the organic and nature-based approach to healing in my work.

Delving into Psychology, Social Sciences, and Literature in my undergrad education, I set my heart on a Master’s Program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. During my time away from medical school, you can find me participating in indigenous ceremonies, hiking the beautiful terrains of the Pacific Northwest with my 3-year-old daughter, creating herbal products at home, and being with loved ones that nourish my heart.
